This 1903 classic has the charm of yesterday with the elegance and amenities you desire today.  The 2050 s.f. cottage was originally a 800 s.f. Four Square located in the heart of Carlton.  In 2005 it was carefully and lovingly remodeled by M.D. Haney & Co.  The fine craftsmanship and appreciation for the home's heritage is evident in every room.  We hope you enjoy staying at Parkside as much as we have enjoyed creating this restful retreat for you.

Parkside is all one level with the kitchen open to the living room, dining space and beautiful outdoor views.   The two suites are located at the end of the hall with an abundance of natural light and space.  The cottage is equipped with a heat pump, AC and a fireplace to set the mood for romantic, chilly evenings.

The FIRST SUITE is located on the main floor and is fitted with a King bed and luxurious linens. The Garden Suite features a claw-foot soaking tub, period appropriate tiled walk-in shower, double vanity, and a large walk-in closet.

The SECOND SUITE is located on the main floor and features a King bed, luxurious linens, large closet and a spacious sitting area.  The Lilac Suite has it’s own bathroom just two steps down the hall.  The bathroom features distressed hardwood floors, bath/shower unit, toilet and classic pedestal sink.  
 
The LIBRARY is comfortable for cuddling up with a good book, playing chess or checking email.  It is separate from the living area and bedrooms and provides privacy and work space if work needs to be done while on your visit.  

The fully equipped KITCHEN has everything you need to prepare a wonderful meal.  From slate floor, to Stainless Steel appliances, duel-fuel 36” Wolf oven, to concrete countertops.  The kitchen also includes a microwave, toaster, and numerous accessories necessary to prepare your delicious bounty. Complimentary coffee and tea are available to start your morning off  on the right foot.

The separate DINING ROOM is adjacent to the kitchen and features a large farmhouse table with seating for 4.

The open LIVING ROOM features beautiful views, comfortable furniture, 60" TV, cable, DVD player and wireless internet.

The LAUNDRY ROOM is equipped with an iron, and complimentary washing machine and dryer use with a 3 day stay or longer.

The BACK DECK is adjacent to the living room and features a gas BBQ, patio furniture, privacy, a serene setting as well as a herb, fruit, flower and vegetable gardens.
